SPACESHIPONE ROCKETS TO RECORD HEIGHT ON 3RD POWERED FLIGHT | X P R I Z E: "Mojave, Ca (May 13, 2004) - With test pilot Mike Melville at the controls, the Scaled Composites X PRIZE team made its third powered flight in SpaceShipOne on May 13th.   Melville fired the ship's hybrid rocket engine for 55 seconds, reaching a speed of  Mach 2.5 and coasting to an apogee of 211,400 feet, doubling the height reached on the April 8 flight test.  'I would give a million dollars to do it again,' said Melvill, according to the Los Angeles Times.  'Watching the blue sky go completely black was the highlight of my career.'"
