the update, first days at cambridge

ok kids here the update:

got in the other night and chilled in london. stayed at my very first hostel. interesting experience. the place was called the generator and it was near camden. it was like something out of some terry gilliam sifi. it was strait brazil. hung there met some nice kids, and austrailian girl who was visiting friends in brighten. and some kid from san diego who lives off the 163. very odd that last one. had a few pints, some absinth!!! and some dope curry. just kind of walked about, saw the theater district, the themes, the millenium wheele, big ben, parliment, downing street, westminster abby and the savoy all accidently and within about 30 minutes of wandering amelessly. pretty cool!!!

next day was off to cambridge, about an hour by train. nice town, super cool especially when you think about all the shit that went down here. i mean, dna discovered, the atom split, electrons uncovered, hawking, newton, gravity, blackholes, etc... all thought up on the local ale!!! which btw is prety dope, speckled hen, my new fave. hand pumped, room temp, the whole lot!

class is cool, the college is beautiful. kids are nice, first night went out drinking with a few. met some dudes on the wilco trip, several actullay. then met a girl who is dating laird's step brother, another who was telling me about a dope vivian westwood exhibit she just went to, a third who loves pavement and emo and another austrian girl who worked in the music biz in la and has gone back to school to be a lawyer. we talked tunes and geek toys for a few hours. even met some aspiring screenwriters. big big fun!

yeah i like it here. might have to stay a while.
