ElcomSoft Verdict: Not Guilty, A jury on Tuesday found a Russian company ElcomSoft and employee Dmitry Sklyarov, who was arrested during Defcon after giving a speech about his company's software which is designed to crack protections on Adobe Systems' eBooks making the ebooks more usable and portable (ie. blind users can have their computers turn thee text to speech), not guilty of criminal copyright charges under th DMCA!!!

Captchas, are puzzles that have the property that computers can generate and grade the tests even though they cannot pass them. The researchers decided to call their puzzles Captchas, an acronym for Completely Automated Public Turing Test to Tell Computers and Humans Apart.
